During our stay, SOCARAFARIANS will tour key historic sites connected to Nelson Mandela and the rich history of Johannesburg, including Constitution Hill and the Mandela House in Soweto, gaining insight into the nation’s journey to democracy. A guided Soweto tour will take you along iconic Vilakazi Street and to the Hector Pieterson Memorial, offering a powerful look at the community’s culture and history. We will also enjoy shopping experiences that ranges from Johannesburg’s modern malls to markets filled with handmade crafts and African fashion. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia - Culture & Majestic Falls
On March 11th, SOCAFARIANS will fly from Cape Town, South Africa to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to begin the final chapter of our journey. After arriving, we will spend 2 days exploring the majestic falls, taking in their breathtaking power while also immersing ourselves in the local culture, markets, and optional adventure activities. The following day, we will cross into Zambia by walking for a unique perspective of the falls and surrounding landscapes. We will enjoy lunch and activities before returning to Zimbabwe. In the evening, we will enjoy a beautiful dinner and dance to the rhythms of the land before we say our goodbyes. This experience concludes a memorable 11-day journey through Southern Africa, filled with nature, culture, history, and unforgettable moments.
